Since I did this one Moses has declined in my estimation.
I 'spose everybody is OK as a kid, but Moses as an adult lacked something.
There he was in prolonged conversations with God on the Mount, and God
gave him a set of rules for everyone, (presumably including Moses himself),
to follow. A set personally carved in stone by none other than G. himself
yet ! And the central rule is "Thou shalt not kill." So what does Moses
do? He comes down and finds someone has conned "his" people, who just
wanted something to believe in. He drops and breaks the God-carved rules
and commands everyone to "Kill! kill! kill! Kill your brothers! Kill
your companions! Kill your neighbors!" So "Three thousand men" die that
day, Exodus 32-28. Swell guy this Moses! A real obedient Abdul. Sure.
What ever happened to "Thou shalt not kill"?
Oh well. Here he is before he lost it. I've got him
holding, but not choking, that snake. It looks like a worm? Hey! I wouldn'
t trust him with a nice snake.
MY "rule" is: Hurt None. But Help All As Best You Can
. That includes critters.
